How to be a Great Host for Guests
These are the steps we put together to prevent hosting from becoming more of a chore than a reward.
“Some of our most enthusiastic hosts are so dedicated to their guests having an exceptional stay that they’re challenged to find their own time and resources for themselves, they’re givers and sometimes givers swing too far into that giving activity.”
Our goals
We have this beautiful property in an amazing natural environment. This is a very special place that we would like to share with like-minded people who are looking for the rustic aspect of the North Carolina mountains in a house that maintains all the comforts and reliability of a modern home. Undeniably, there is an economic benefit to renting our second home. Our goal is to create a place that will facilitate similar experiences for our guests that it does for us. We want to be amerced into the natural beauty of the smoky mountains. A place that offers the option to be connected and have the benefits of modern technology. A place that stimulates the senses with attention to detail with a multitude of options to stay entertained. Whether it’s a cool book or a comforting beverage out on the deck, the goal is to offer choices to divert you from your day to day.
Surround yourself with resources
Marble is a simple town. Located between Murphy and Andrews it is located within 90 minutes of the best North Carolina has to offer. You could white water raft in the morning, mountain bike in the afternoon, and go evening skiing. Wake up next day and you can go fly fishing, then hit one of the nearby lakes with the kids and go tubing, in the evening take the family to a nice dinner, and at night hit the casino with your significant other. Several National and State Parks are nearby for a hike or a simple drive.
